Do you trust your intuition?
Intuition is a gut feeling that speaks to you as unconscious reasoning that propels you to do something without telling you why or how. We are all connected to our intuition but only some choose to listen. Can you recall a time you went against your intuition – you first meet someone and you think “something is off” or get a pit in your stomach around them? Our gut feelings are called gut feelings for a reason — research suggests that emotion and intuition are very much rooted in the “second brain” in the gut.
When you choose to go against your intuition or inner voice and continue the relationship personal or work and later it all falls apart and you think back to the initial encounter and think “I knew it!” I have also hired people with little or no experience within moments of meeting them because my intuition was communicating to me this is a great fit! There have been many occasions I have gone with and against my own intuition and they have always been huge learning and growth lessons along the way. I also believe the more you bring your awareness to your intuition in situations the more fine tuned it becomes. Now more than ever I try to look at intuition first.. even if it doesn’t make logical sense- its not logic its is a deeper level of understanding and trust.
Our intuition is always there, whether we’re aware of it or not, always accessing the situation and trying to steer us in the right direction. Possibly today you could bring your awareness to your own intuition.
Here are some easy steps to get in touch with your intuition.
✨Listen rather than ignore gut feelings
✨Take time to meditate or sit in stillness
✨Let go of negative emotions that can cloud your intuition
✨Move your body- mindful movement can keep you connected to the present moment.
