Grief is cumulative: fresh loss re-stimulates the grief of unresolved losses.

Grief is cumulative: fresh loss re-stimulates the grief of unresolved losses.

Cumulative grief can accumulate over the years or even decades, seriously affecting your physical and mental health.

Collective grief also becomes cumulative – COVID-19, natural disasters, or city tragedies.

When tragedy or trauma hits, we see what lies under the surface, begging to be healed and transformed.

What we have stashed in Pandora’s box is wide open again.

It can feel overwhelmingly challenging and leaves us waiting for the other shoe to drop.

It’s like the saying, “When it rains, it pours,” or “Bad things come in threes.”

When the residue of COVID has us peeking out of our isolation and not so awkward talking and feeling safe with other humans – BANG

Loss is something we all share as humans. How we choose to heal is individual.

Grief creates a state of physical and mental disharmony.

The body and the mind are inextricably linked, so healing must include physical and mental treatment methods.

If you allow, grief can be the most direct pathway to personal transformation.
